OVERVIEW
We worked with Norfolk County Council and the NHS to produce two complementary films aimed at improving public health outcomes through their Health Checks programme.
The first film was designed to inform the public about the availability and benefits of free health checks across the county. Using clear, approachable messaging and local community settings, the video encouraged residents to participate in preventative health screenings, highlighting early detection as a key benefit.
The second film focused on training NHS staff on new methodologies and best practices for delivering health checks. This internal-facing content provided step-by-step guidance and practical demonstrations, ensuring staff felt confident and prepared to implement updated procedures.
OBJECTIVE #1
Promote Public Health Awareness
OBJECTIVE #2
Train & Support NHS Staff
OBJECTIVE #3
Encourage Preventative Health Checks
RESULTS
- Produced two films: one for public awareness, one for staff training.
- Public-facing film received steady local engagement across council social media channels and YouTube.
- Training film provided a consistent, accessible learning resource for staff across multiple sites, improving confidence and knowledge retention.
- Both films continue to support the Council and NHS in their efforts to encourage preventative health measures and maintain high service standards.
By using video to address both public awareness and staff training signposting, Norfolk County Council and the NHS were able to communicate health messages effectively, while ensuring their workforce was equipped to signpost and deliver high-quality health checks in the community.
